WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading (before & after)Microblading otherwise known as feathering, 3D brows or embroidery eyebrows is an innovative technique of drawing natural and realistic hair strokes directly on the skin surface using a specially designed hand tool, along with semi-permanent pigment lasting 1-3 years. Individual hair strokes are created to produce a fuller, more defined brow. Feathered eyebrows are perfect for someone with sparse brows, people suffering from alopecia or if you just don't like the shape of your brows. Feathering can create a whole new
eyebrow that will frame the face and give you a long lasting new
eyebrow shape and look.
Unlike traditional eyebrow tattooing, the feathered, microblading or 3D eyebrow technique does not leave a flat, dull look and is a much safer technique. It gives the eyebrow a full bodied shape and youthful look.
The Certified Brow Artist uses only sterilized, disposable needles and supplies during the process. Only the lowest layer of the epidermis, just above the dermis of the skin is stroked to create the feathering of hair. Custom pigments are designed and chosen to the client's individual skin colour and undertone.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
It differs with each client, microblading can last 1 to 3 years. After the initial first treatment, a second appointment for a touch-up is REQUIRED, 4-6 weeks after. This is due to the fact that 40-50% of the original colour fades. During the second appointment the pigment absorbs into the skin which results in the perfectly shaped and defined brow.
